Howdy! I’m Miss Griffis. I began my agriculture education by mistakenly being enrolled into Mr. Pierce’s Ag 101 at Klein High School in Spring, TX. As a FFA member I was an active member. I received my Greenhand and Chapter degree by participating in LDEs, CDEs, and keeping an SAE of Market Rabbits. I served as a chapter officer my junior year at Oak Ridge FFA before continuing to Waller FFA where I participated in livestock shows with my Market Goats.

I earned my BS of Agriculture Education at Texas State University in 2017. Eat’Em Up CATS! I was a member of Collegiate FFA and served as their Chapter Reporter. Through CFFA I was a judge for Jr. and Sr. Creed Speaking, and Public Relations. I completed my student teaching at Judson High School in Converse, TX. There I trained CDE teams of Poultry Judging and Nursery Landscape. I was also part of the swine show team and enjoyed my time at Judson.

When I started my teaching career I didn't expect my first year to end up in Dell City, TX (just 100 miles East of El Paso, Texas). My second year I taught at in Pettus, which was the first school to incorporate Ag Classes in the state of Texas. I am starting my second year at Goodrich.

With my thorough knowledge of FFA and as a proud former FFA member, I am excited to have you in our chapter!
