Horticulture Science

This course will prepare students for careers in plant systems.  This exploratory course is designed as an introduction to horticultural sciences with emphasis on management and production of horticulture plants through the study of classification, propagation, design, physiological processes, and marketing.  Students will gain hands on experience working with plants in the greenhouse laboratory.

During the course of this semester, we will cover a wide range of topics concerning horticulture.  Some of the topics we will cover are listed below:
